Again, makes me wonder which of these are true:
A) The Leafs offered Knies, but Columbus wants a ready-made potential #1 defenseman that’s ready to step in now, not a forward in exchange for Werenski.
B) Chayka wasn’t willing to offer up Knies in the deal.
