Again, makes me wonder which of these are true:


A) The Leafs offered Knies, but Columbus wants a ready-made potential #1 defenseman that’s ready to step in now, not a forward in exchange for Werenski.

B) Chayka wasn’t willing to offer up Knies in the deal.

I do feel for sports media, and all "reporters" to some degree. Their jobs have been precarious forever and there's no real bonus points for being accurate. A lot of these guys are just trying to keep above water with limited charisma.

I don't. Their jobs are precarious, but there's more money in podcasting than whatever the fuck it is Darren Dreger is pretending to do. All you're doing by slinging nonsense rumours is hurting your own personal brand for the benefit of your multi billion dollar corporate overlord getting a few more clicks.

I wouldn't be surprised if Steven Dangle was out earning the lot of them.
