I would be kinda concerned that there is a bit of a fraccus between LA and Edmonton asking for permission to speak to Cassidy, while the Leafs seemingly dont.

Its possible he wouldnt choose Toronto anyways, but it would be malpractice to not ask to talk to him and offer him more money than anyone else.
