Yeah, but at the same time you're attaching your brand to this as the media organization. The amount of brand damage that can be done letting some of your journalists run around and basically invent shit out of mid air for clicks just isn't worth the tiny bit of additional ad revenue it's generating.

I think there's a lot of Leafs haters in high power positions around this city as well that love to rub it in when they can, credibility be damned. When the Leafs choked away 3-1 against the Crosscheck Cup / Knee-to-the-Head Habs in '20, remember they lit the CN Tower up to "celebrate" the Habs win? Fucking disgraceful.

I can absolutely guarantee that if it was Toronto going on a run, the rest of the country would be actively rooting against them. Certainly not lighting up their downtown cores in TML colours.

This has worked out well for Cowan. In hindsight.
He played with the big boys, saw the lack of heart in the room, isn't tired. Then go to the marlies playoffs, play big minutes with guys like Giroulx, quillen.

So good for his development.

I want Laughton back as 3C, defensive zone faceoffs. Pp2 take the defensive minutes from Auston and make a line of
JT Laughton cowboy.
