Mahoney is always there when you need him

A buddy of mine in high school worked as an extra on the set of the first Police Academy movie that was filmed in Toronto. He got to meet a then-28 year old Kim Cattrall.

That doesn't work in playoffs as there isn't just one quarter, there's more if need be. The logic is the fourth down. If you go first you will punt on fourth and long as opposed to using the fourth down. Going second after a score takes away that decision.

Stats also show you're better off going for it.

So there are two wisdoms at play here and when you're talking SB? First isn't always better because you let the other team know what they need to do.

If I was a head coach in the NFL I'd send my punter to the locker room at the end of regulation time in a playoff game. In fact, even during the regular season I would never punt on 4th and a yard. If my team can't gain one measly yard it deserves whatever happens next. I would only ever punt on 4th and long and in pre-season games I wouldn't punt at all.

Convenient

not sure.

I would have guessed it was the next potus number but if Biden is re-elected then he's still #46.

Or maybe they think it's code for the Biden replacement potus?
