Edit: 2nd pick as of now, but strength of schedule (Chargers and Buffalo again) might drop us even if we lose both games. 🫤

Yeah, I was talking with my brother about Caleb Williams and the fact that a lot of people seem to think he's some sort of bust.

Dude is putting up very solid numbers, but because Daniels numbers are slightly better and because Stroud had a crazy good rookie year, Williams isn't doing enough.

Through 15 games Caleb has 3271 yards passing, 19 tds, 5 ints and 442 rushing yards.

You see guys like Darnold and Geno Smith who are absolute garbage for several years and eventually, in the right situation they become decent NFL QBs. Expecting anyone to come in and be a star QB in year one is absurd.

Great post , Williams and Stroud walked into better balanced teams

Giants and Vegas will probably fuck up Sanders and Ward

The Bears added alot of weapons for Caleb in Ondunze, Allen, and Moore.

Thats a top tier set of WR

His line sucks

His coaching really sucks.

His head coach was a mediocre defensive co-ordinator. Needed a QB friendly coach or OC willing to ease him in with a limited system designed around his strengths

The problem is that (as you said) most of these college QB studs are asked to save the franchise that drafted them on day one
