The Official Post-Bitch 2025-26 Regular Season Thread

“Oh, it’s unreal. I mean, we got the best fans in the world, and it’s not even close,” Domi enthused. “Even around the hotel and stuff. I mean, last night we got in late, but it was freezing cold and pitch black, and we had, like, 100 fans waiting for us.
“That just speaks volumes to the support we have — and we’re very lucky.”

Might as well have said “Mitch is such a turd”

This kid just irritates the living shit out of me. I've had and trained enough dogs old, young, and pups to know a lost cause puppy when I encounter one. He'll have his moments once in awhile, but then -- Fetch, boy: Duhhhh, okie dokie. . .flops down in front of you, tongue lolling, with a goddam frisbee between his paws instead of a puck. . . . So, yeah -  IF you can get something good in trade for him, do it. Otherwise, get his ass down to the minors. Or something.

Unless the market largely yawns and passes on him, I don't know if I want him for free agent rates for ages 30 and up.

Career high goal pace coinciding with career high SH%, one of the worst nerdies forwards on the team. Can skate fast and shoot hard, but is pretty dumb and bad defensively. But he's big and he hits, so we'll almost definitely sign him to a mistake contract.

Young 30 with limited miles

What`s your contract to keep him

eh his nerdies are the same crap as everyone else's this year tbh. nothing notable imo.

his p1/60 5v5 has always been consistent

23/24: 1.55 (11.2sh%, 9.3oish%)
24/25: 1.44 (10.7sh%, 10.2oish%)
25/26: 1.70 (11.3sh%, 10.5oish%)

doesn't get enough TOI tbh, especially on the PP.

For me his speed+size+shot plays and I don't wanna lose him. He's a threat on the rush every time.

Limited miles or late and low peak? Aging curves generally suggest that the later your peak, the earlier your decline. Not a hard and fast rule of course, but a good guideline to keep in mind.

As for contract...something in the low to mid 2's at most, 2-3 years at most.
