Lost track. Didn't realize he requested a trade. Smart thing to do. Too bad fools and idiots are in charge. It is funny Blais stays because he scored. but Robertson also scored in the same game.
I mean who do they need more of right now of the 2? The answer is clear.
Gotta point out here as well, this is going on way too long and Leafs look bad not moving Robertson. He requested a trade offseason, 2024. I get you don't want to move him for little and get burned, but at some pint you can't have it both ways. Play him real minutes or move him.
This makes a loooot of senseYou know i bet that Kampf used his modified No-trade to block a move to some shitty team and then was shocked when he passed through waivers unclaimed.
Mutual termination and he can go play in Europe?
Upside and speed. It’s nice seeing a couple of guys who can move quickly and create plays. Cowan is fast out there, and Robbie has always been quick and gets that shot off in a hurry. It's absolutely devastatingly dumb to not at least go with this for awhile. Robertson and Cowan are literally the only two guys that give this lineup some offensive upside. We know what the rest of the team are already beyond maybe Maccelli, but he was already given loads of opportunity.
Cowan-Tavares-Nylander.So the line that i've long wanted to see - Matthews flanked by the two "kids" (at least they were kids back when i first wanted to see it) was put together for the first time last night and had a 71xgf% and were on for 2 goals for and 0 against. Nicky had a goal and an assist, Matthews had a goal, Knies had an assist.
And then of course Cowan scored his first career goal on a line with Tavares and McMann, who weren't quite as good but still nearly 60xgf%.
It would bring me great pleasure to see those kids stick on those lines.
And then you could just plop Willy on Roy's wing and instantly have 3 good exciting lines.
or you could drop nicky and play blais and lorentz instead.
I vote blais and Lorentz. So the line that i've long wanted to see - Matthews flanked by the two "kids" (at least they were kids back when i first wanted to see it) was put together for the first time last night and had a 71xgf% and were on for 2 goals for and 0 against.
