TML? More like FML, amirite? Yet Another Off Season Thread

The ref immediately waved it off. LoF was too busy celebrating to see the call on the ice.
I was watching the garbage US feed that carried through the goal and then the guy starts saying “they’re calling it back, this one won’t count.” I’m sure HNIC did better.

Are you sure frenemy isn't like this Fight Club type deal?

Thinking you're all Brad Pitt to find out you're really Ed Norton?
What, does Jonas inspire you to be a dickhead too? Better than being a human garbage disposal, but obnoxious for others.

Needless to say I think we can all agree that JT is the only guy worth moving from their core and the NMC makes that almost impossible. I can also say that we can all agree that the contract was designed to likely look rough in his final 3 years and Dubas was ok with that because the purpose was to win a cup in the first 4 years; if they did we'd care a lot less about the back half of the deal. That didn't happen so we can expect to have a very overpaid second line center on the leafs for the next three years. It's not an insurmountable hurdle but it would be much easier to fill in the blanks if they didn't have that contract on the books.

Dude, it's not my fault this is one of the two times that broken clock was right. You're off base here.

Nah it was JTs blazing speed that created the space dummy
Yeah, we’ve never seen Tavares circle around with a guy on his back and get away. That wasn’t a straight line dash.

Anyway. Best to avoid these shitty boards at times like these. And in general, if possible.

The logical move is the coach. If that fails you start dealing core.

I hope you recover well. Cheers.

I get that you love Tavares but I mean... The goal was created because Holl crushed the guy checking him. I didn't even say that Tavares is bad there. I just stated what I felt like was a fact.

Maybe it would’ve, maybe it wouldn’t have. He’s strong on his skates and is evasive one on one with space. I just laugh at how much attention is being devoted to mocking or moving the guy who was our most clutch player in these last two games. It’s absurd that that is supposedly our big problem here. Not goalless ultra elite $22m M&M combo which scored a combined zero goals in the final 5 periods. Let’s just keep going back to the guy who scored the most goals of any player the last two games, without counting the one that got called back.

The US feed made this series bearable for me. I didn't have to endure watching the HNIT crew fellating the Leafs every 2 minutes like it was a contractual requirement.
