If they keep MT, under 65 is highly doable. They have 11 points in the last ten weeks. To get 65, they'd need 13 points in eight weeks.

I dunno man. 29 games left ... probably pick up a couple/few loser points along the way. You are essentially suggesting they can't win 5 more games. However, may the force be with you.

The way the team has given up is beyond disgusting.
At least Nero played his fiddle as Rome burned, Bernie just plays with himself. His solution to the collapse has been to pick up John Scott Victor Bartley and Ben Scrivens.
Whether long Mike is the problem or not, he should not still have a job. I know it is mostly Bernie's fault but how can you back your coach in this circumstance. He won't trade his players so he should fire the coach.

Be careful what u wish for, recall 2001 - Habs were in perfect position for the Kovalchuk sweeps, then MT pulls off a winning streak (some 5-8 gamer) and screws them out of it, end up with Komisarek @ #10....

Regardless of what leafs fans on this bored say it is VERY possible for us to get Top 3. We simply just don't compete for wins anymore - and we don't even make it to OT.
If the season were to end today we would be drafting 8th overall (if we didn't move up or down based on luck).
Vancouver and Calgary are in positions to pass us. The way we're playing will guarantee that Winnipeg will pas us too. That brings us to 5th overall.
Toronto has 3 games in hand and are 7 points back. Keep in mind we rarely get points anymore, so there is a solid chance Toronto passes us. That brings us to 4th.
You have to think that Edmonton will go on some sort of run with McDavid in the lineup. He's a game changer. That's potentially 3rd overall.
I don't think we will catch Columbus (Buffalo, maybe?).
But let's keep this in mind. We rarely win now, so anything is possible.

He had ample opportunity in the last two months to save the season and did nothing.
He needs to keep playing his favorites at all the wrong times, like last minute of play, to 79, 51 and 74. The weakest players need to excel at what they do best for the rest of the season. Markov clearly doesn't want to or can't skate anymore, and he can barely cover guys on the PK, therefore he must play every PK. Therrien just needs to make sure the right guys are on at the right time. Like maybe putting our 3rd/4th liners vs 1st-2nd liners on the other team. Tons of things we can do. But the most important thing is we must give Condon every remaining start lol. This is for the greater good, every player and even the coach must be on board with the big picture.
