Your bias is showing. 2012-2017, the East was pretty wide open and the Habs were one of the better team in the conference. Being aggressive on the trade front and boosting our forward group would have definitely helped, maybe make it to the finals a few times. It couldn't have been worse than what our drafting provided during that period anyway.

It's true. I saw the interview as well. He mentioned his kids answer him and his wife in English when they speak French to them and that's a no-go for the Savards.

There might be some minor stuff. Bolster Laval, Pearson out, maybe midwife another deal with cap space.

We already did the necessary trade.
 
I think it would have to be a really good deal. He'll garner average next season too and they don't need the cap savings.
 
Is that Yannick Perreault's kid? He better be good at faceoffs or he'll get disowned.
