Vegas

You can walk it sure, just like you can walk most places, but why would you want to walk that distance in 110 degree heat? Don't pretend it is close to the strip because it isn't.

I've been to Vegas several times and it's not particularly far. I've also walked up and down the strip in one go before. A few blocks is nothing.

And dry heat is easy to deal with. I will avoid going outside here in Toronto during the summer all the time due to the humidex. Vegas? It's not nearly as oppressive.

Was in Vegas for the world series - you do not want to walk more than 10 feet in that heat. The wind was like a blow dryer pointed directly at your face. Experienced this at 10:30pm at night getting out of the airport waiting for a cab.

It's not the distance, it's the gross heat that gets you.

Huh?

Vegas is cold at night.

they have a shuttle to the strip that operates most of the day and we can walk as well.... cab may come after a night at a watering hole or two.

Wanted to be on the strip but we have been told by a few people that the partying at the hard rock is pretty good (pool area especially) so we gave in. Plus we also wanted to each have a place to sleep without sharing with eachother... if i have to share my bed with anyone on the trip it will not be a male.

what the hell

so many lazy people

i would probably off myself before taking a cab literally 3 blocks

Are the single rooms still cheap enough that choosing that over splitting the costs of a two queen bed room would be affordable?

depends where you are going on the strip doesn't it? If you are going to MGM Grand or Planet Hollywood, the walk isn't that bad (and the blocks in LV are not "standard" as they are longer than normal). However, if you are going to Bellagio, Forum Shops, Caesar's, Wynne etc, then the walk is long.

That's pretty sweet. Are the beds at least located in a different part of the suite if you happen to bring a lass back?

2 beds in one room and a full living room area with a pull out couch.... the couch gives away what needs to be done. Believe me that was part of the discussions when we made the room choice as we have 1 or 2 girls coming to see us already.

Well, you boys behave yourselves, I'm off on an 8 day cruise in 12 hours. Catch you on the flip side.

Went to a Brazilian restaurant and it was awesome... believe it was called pampas.

Didn't do day trips but the pool at the hard rock was awesome as well.
