Well, this is....different - Site Issues

Hm. A couple of times in the last few days, when I come to the site, there's some weird popup that blocks the page and says I need to enter certain credentials in order to access. I try to refresh and it's still blocked. Then a few minutes later, it's freely accessible again.

Happening to anyone else?

Thats just the credit card defender bro, its no big deal. Just enter your credit card number so it can defend it properly and you'll be fine
 
Actually, I'm thinking it's from the VPN bullshit I downloaded the other day.

But yeah, I gave them all the info they needed. Seemed only fair.

Funny - long couple of days, so this just reminded me that yesterday I got a call in the middle of the day that the water and power was going to be shut off at home because I was delinquent on payment. Normally I just hang up on this shit after one second, but this guy starts reading off his script that my payment is late, they don't want to shut down but will have to, etc. And so I start acting intensely, but sarcastically concerned, like UH HUH, REALLY, THAT SOUNDS BAD, I CAN'T BE WITHOUT WATER. So he's taking me seriously for a bit but finally catches on that I'm not planning to pay, so when I go PLEASE, TELL ME WHAT TO DO TO GET THE ACCOUNT IN GOOD STANDING, he finally breaks character and he's like SO YOU GO UP TO THE ROOF AND JUMP RIGHT OFF AND FALL FLAT ON YOUR FACE MOTHERFUCKER! and hangs up. I got a chuckle out of him thinking he found another sucker for a bit. Seriously, the scum out there spending their days trying to rip off people is just disgusting. I shudder to imagine how many people (likely elderly and vulnerable people) they get with this every day.

During the fake CRA scan I would give then 10 digit SINs
 
So I kept getting that weird block to this site just now. Nothing would stop it until I disconnected the VPN, and then it came up instantly.
