Broccoli salad with peppers and onions and a mustard/parmesan vinaigrette.

a small piece of lemon pound cake. Ya' know, one of those enticing samples at the grocery store, and better than a dixie cup full of rice a roni, too.

Boring is fine. Salmon salad sandwich again, followed by a handful of almond, sunflower seed, pumpkin seed and soy nut mix.

Red velvet cake. I just bought one out of insatiable curiosity. I can't even watch a tv show these days without someone fainting over this red velvet cake business. Even at the baker's counter today, a fellow patron says. "oh man, you're going to love that!"....he apparently overheard me asking what the buzz was all about.

so the next thing I plan to eat, is one or more slices of this red velvet cake.

and last thing I ate were two lousy slices of toast.

I do deserve better.....

this just in: red velvet cake is for pansies, and my apologies to the delectable chocolate cake I passed up on for the poseur in red.
