Same, plus when I go running. Fortunately, I live in a part of town where maintaining social distances while exercising is easy, because the tought of wearing a mask while running is very unappealing.Mask up sheeple :0)
Note: I wear a mask whenever I leave my yard for anything other than a walk in the neighborhood, so ... big whoop.
there is no religion I can think of that bans face coverings, but I can certainly name some that absolutely permit!Got my test in Cary . Drive through , waited about 5 minutes. Muslims make women wear face masks in some countries like Saudi Arabia. And of course many of them cover their hair.
More cases in NC in the past 7 days than all of Canada in the last 16 days.
I really do think mask compliance makes a huge difference. I'd say above 60% compliance in my area.
Was at the N.C. coast the last couple of weeks and OMG. Probably about 20% of folks had a mask (max). I honestly believe that if you started seeing masks with guns, deer, fish, Budweiser or Jim Beam on them, instead of masks that resemble something from Greg’s Anatomy, you might increase usage in some of these rural areas. I know you can order special masks but I would blanket the Neuse Sports Shop with them! Sounds stupid but I swear I think it would help. My contribution. You’re welcome. LOL.Orange County required masks county-wide (Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and Hillsborough, plus surrounds) beginning last Friday.
I live in downtown Raleigh and mask compliance has been low among my high-rise neighbors as they come and go, much less out on the street where visitors mix with residents. We do have a one-household or no more than two non-household riders policy for the elevators.
Elskling and I are wearing one at all times outside our door until we are in the car and there is always a folded paper towel in my pocket for touch surfaces.
so how do we explain that they’ve only had 4 total cases in MHC if masks work? Plus that number has been stuck at 4 for weeks on WRAL.I'm not sure it's even 20% in Morehead City, etc. We've been living at our house on the lower Neuse across from Oriental and having to go to Morehead, Beaufort and Havelock for groceries, pharmacy, etc. and especially Lowes Home Imp. for a project of adding a 4-season semi-outdoor new room. At Lowes, employees are required to have masks but often have them dangling. And almost none of the customers have them. At Harris-Teeter the employees are required as well as Lowes Foods and most customers wear them there but almost nowhere else.
