If memory serves, JT was stood up with a hit that spun him low and timed perfectly to get a flying knee directly to the chin and was knocked out clean.

It was a hockey/MMA hybrid hit.

Mouthguard may have saved him some dental work.

Sort of expecting those two to go off on Price tonight and really make their presence felt.

The depth will be quiet tonight while the stars put on a show. You just know Matty is salivating at the chance to advance tonight.

100% he is, but that comes with over-thinking things. Its fine to pull that off in the regular season, he doesn't have that luxury in the post season when space is extra tight. I am impressed with his defensive prowness, and his physicality so far this post season, he's engaged for sure.
 
If you look at the stats basically Spezza is the only good part about the old man line. He probably deserves a promotion more than anyone right now. Simmonds and Thornton have unfortunately not brought much of anything for me in the playoffs. I sure hope that this intangible leadership is worth having bad players on the team.
 
Spezza carries our fourth line. My concern promoting him would be that Jumbo becomes even more of a disaster.

This is fair. I'm probably being overly hard on him because of how awful he is every time I see him on our PP. His passes are so poor and I just see him on the outside too much for my liking.
