Yep. You're right. Habs are the real Champs.Rules or no rules, they won with a roster way way way over the cap, which in any other season could never have happened.
So......Asterisk, Asterisk, Asterisk.
Yep. You're right. Habs are the real Champs.
The only thing that saved the Leafs from the David Clarkson contract was the Nathan Horton contract, and somehow it was a cap benefit to the team to have both on the books once both players were completely broken and unable to play.
The NHL cap needs fixing.
DankeCongrats.
It's not just that kuch missed "most of the season", it's that he missed every game of it, so that they were able to ltir him from the very first game and never have to shed salary all year.
If he plays even one game in the season and then gets injured, they've already had to dump 2 significant players to fit him in to start....but they never did.
And it's only the shortened season that let him miss exactly the whole season on a reasonable injury rehab timeline - a full 6 month season and there's no way they can play that game.
Also, no cap for the playoffs is too easy to circumvent. A team can acquire as many injured players as they want at the deadline
LOLCould you imagine a team with 5 Riley Nash's?
Fucking unstoppable.
I can barely imagine a team with one.Could you imagine a team with 5 Riley Nash's?
Fucking unstoppable.
Our performance at the deadline was a massive, epic goat fuck that has direct connection with our clown show playoff appearance.
Yeah, total disaster. And gave up almost an entire draft's worth of picks for the pleasure.
Easily the most confusing Dubas moves I've seen since he's been here. I guess the big red flag should've been how guys like Colaiacovo, Zigomanis and Stewart raved about all the moves.
