Hyman's rep has ballooned out of all proportion and it looks like he's about to cash. good for him.
hopefully Holland jumps on that grenade.

I suspect youll have to take on some form of a roster playerHyman is a superelite Justin Abdelkader/Andreas Athanasieu/all the shitty fast red wings wingers Holland and Babs loved so makes sense he'd want him
It would be great if we got picks out of it.
doesn't make any sense for the Buds thoI suspect youll have to take on some form of a roster player
Ethan Bear makes some sense too

You can flip him.the only real sense it would make is that it would instruct the hockey world on just how much better our blueline is than Oil Changes.
Ethan Bear played on their top pairing with Nurse for long stretches last year and wouldn't make our top 6.
Lilly > Bear
If you didnt want nerd fired before Friedman is saying they have offered 8 years with a lower aav

pssst... Goodrow's contract is a hilarious overpay for pugnacity/Tom Wilson deterrent. he's a glorified fourth liner...Our problem is we ever played Hyman on the first two lines. He's really best played as a third liner, like with Engvall and Mikky. If we used him that way, he'd never have the leverage to demand a deal like this and would instead be getting a Goodrow-ish $3.6m or $4M. I don't want an expensive Hyman and I don't want an 8 year obligation to a less expensive Hyman.
