Ok I should use complete sentences...Starter?
Who is projected as your starter since Woll is backup and further to that is Woll a lock for backup?

Not longterm but this year, yeah. That's a lot of cap space to potentially use on a guy who is cooked. They're not in a position to waste over 4m on nothing and get away with it imo. That money would be better spent elsewhere. But... Maybe he turns it around and is a stud this year.
Would be real tough to correct for it this year though. It's likely the difference between them being better this year vs being worse. Just saying the stakes are highest with that signing. They need him to be goodA complete waste. "Kill them" seems strong, IMO.
yes. you're looking at capfriendly so the reason we're certain is right there.Really amazes me that Murray got a modified NTC. Are you certain Tre and company aren't planning to play Murray?

Care to be more specific? Over the cap?yes. you're looking at capfriendly so the reason we're certain is right there.
It just seems different. They'll score more I think. If they can keep their defensive structure it's hard to imagine they got worse.Iirc the lineup for the last game of the season:
Jarnkrok --- Matthews --- MarnerSo....
Kerfoot --- Tavares --- Nylander
Bunting --- O'Reilly --- Acciari
Kampf --- Lafferty
Rielly --- Schenn
Brodie --- Holl
McCabe --- Liljegren
Giordano
O'Reilly ---> Bertuzzi
Bunting --> Domi
Kerfoot/Acciari --> Knies/Robertson/Holmberg/McMann
Holl ---> Klingberg
Schenn --> Reaves
Dark Preston can be a little melodramatic. If Klingberg is "killing" them he's on a 1 year deal, they should be able to trade him for a guy making similar or less with term that another team wants to move.A complete waste. "Kill them" seems strong, IMO.
It's not quite "buyout anyone" in this window should the team have either a settled arbitration case or an arbitration award. The player you are buying out must have a cap hit of at least $4 million.Wait what? If Sammy files it opens up a second buyout window where you can buy out anyone, including Murray? But if he doesn’t file, there’s no second window and we can’t buy out Murray?
by pretty much exactly murray's amount and can't keep all three bc woll isn't waiver exempt.Care to be more specific? Over the cap?

So yes, if Samsonov files, the Leafs will have a 48 hour buyout window (3 days after a settlement or the hearing award), and they will be able to buyout Matt Murray then.
Coming from the king of hyperbole, this hurts. I believe I expressed myself quite fine. They had space for one d that makes that kind of money so it's pretty important to get it right. And maybe they did!Dark Preston can be a little melodramatic. It's a CBA thing. I can dig it out but capfriendly.com has that number handy in the buyout FAQ. I'm not sure what the reasoning was for having a minimum cap hit for the arbitration buyout period.Why at least $4m?
I think he’ll put up good numbers and then take off as a UFA on another one or two year deal.Coming from the king of hyperbole, this hurts. I believe I expressed myself quite fine. They had space for one d that makes that kind of money so it's pretty important to get it right. And maybe they did!
Ok. Not seeing it but it's your team. Pretty much set with Samsonov/Woll then.by pretty much exactly murray's amount and can't keep all three bc woll isn't waiver exempt.
