No spoilers here but saw Oppenheimer last night. Pretty damn good. First hour was maybe a tad slow-paced but sure made up for it after that and some really stellar performances.

Good to hear, this is one that I'm looking forward to seeing.

Barbie might be good too, who knows, but I have absolutely zero interest in it.

the ones you get hyped for the most are inevitably a bit dissappointing, but man it's nice to see a theatre boom trending like this either way.

A weekend like this is great for movies.

Tom and MI are doing way worse critically and financially than they would've ever expected.

By the way, it's as much about Margot Robie being smoking hot and Gosling having wide appeal than the subject matter of one besting the other.

I don't think a Cillian Murphy movie, especially one about such gloomy and dated subject matter, is going to drive people out to theaters. Also, the trailers looked like trash to me and I have no interest sitting through something like that for 3 hours straight.

I think this weekend was so big because people are as sick of superhero films as me. There needs to be much more selection.
