Clearly hockey needs to evolve

This is where having a DH leads

For the record I love 3 on 3 and I love the strategic element of it, including the back passing and methodical buildups. North American sports are about direct attacking so I get why many would find it dull but there's a soccer element to OT that I've grown to appreciate.

And then of course you still get scoring chances galore compared to 5 on 5 so not much to complain about for me. Adding more time would be nice, even if just a couple minutes.

No. A regular season tie is better than deciding the game with a HR contest, a field goal kicking contest, etc.
Baseball determines a winner with extra innings, but it's unfair to ask hockey players to skate for 5-6 hours in the regular season with a plane on the tarmac and a game the next night.

It's also unfair to ask pitchers to have their fucking arms fall off from massive overuse when an entire team's pitching staff gets used in one game.

There's nothing wrong with calling it a tie in the regular season.

3v3 is super fun, albeit annoying as fuck when you lose, pretty much whichever way you lose it is a guaranteed piss-off.

Speaking of Teeds, I recall he predicted the NHL would abolish 5v5 for 4v4 at some point.

If you got to a 10 minute OT, whatever it looks like, I bet 95% of games end with a winner.

I have no problem with 5% of OT games ending in a tie. That translates to even less of a percentage of the overall games.
