the marchand one is just fucking unfair tho. i don't even know that florida gets credit there sure seems like marchand just told them to make it happen.

Its more about the types of players those teams are after, than the deals themselves.

Last year Florida went after Tarasenko, who Shanny would never add in a million years. They were lucky to get Marchand, but its on brand.

Shanny's just been content with the core 4 + Mo, and lets just add competitive depth players around them because thats how Tampa won the cup 5 years ago.
