New Canadian Politics Thread

Somebody ought to tell trump that the last president who loved tariffs and thought they’d get Canada to cede to the US by imposing them drove the US economy into recessions and ultimately set the stage for the depression, contributed to the conditions leading to multiple wars and was ultimately assassinated.

Funny enough, one of Trump’s first acts upon taking office again was to rename North America’s highest mountain after that very same President.
 
I used to think Joly was just a well educated bubble-head. Lately she has completely changed my mind. I now see her as a strong capable person who can probably hold her own against anyone.

yah I was never a huge fan of hers previously but she has been impressing me more and more, for sure
