Did he actually use that phrase of his own volition or was he just asked to condemn it and didn't?

twas kind of the latter. he was asked his thoughts on that phrase and 'from the river to the sea'

so yeah...

a) i find it a bit annoying in general that there's a foreign policy anti-palestine litmus test for NYC mayor;
b) i don't blame him for trying to focus the issue on the rights of palestinians, neither personally or politically.

BUT, i would like to see the quote about the warsaw uprising.
