Objectively this should be a disaster day - the leafs just lost a homegrown in his prime 100 point scorer who led them In points in 5 of his 9 seasons here. But nobody is sad about it. Or should be.

It is still a disaster. Just because he's not a playoff stud doesn't mean we didn't just lose big.
Even the playoffs numbers aren't overall terrible, just the goals and the elimination games are worse than his other loser teammates.

100% Tre will do the Bertuzzi/Domi thing on Ehlers, where he'll wait for him to look around, not find the big deal he wants, and then try to sign him for an overpay for one year to pump his stats beside Matty or Tavares.
Don't know if he'll find a long term deal he likes, he might with literally no competition out there, but if not, he'll do the 1 year thing.

Nope, but seen parts of a couple of episodes and was like how was this ever popular (I did watch as a kid and mostly liked it)? Awful.

Knight Rider is still super fun. I never really loved A-Team and didn't like Airwolf.
Family Ties and Growing Pains were good shows that still hold up (FT a bit more than GP). Golden Girls is actually pretty decent comedy, good writing and acting, lots of insult comedy.
As Presty said, I'm an 80s junkie.

Nah. They can't change the DNA by deleting Marner. They have to add to replace all those points and will need the money.
They might even be able to recoup a couple of picks for those guys, and we desperately need them.
No chance Kampf is back, and since he's the harder contract to move money-wise (though being a C helps), if he's gone, Krok is easily gone too.

Last summer, I couldn’t even imagine that Treliving could be dumb enough to keep spending $4.5M in cap space on two milquetoast wimp 3rd/4th liners that are complete black holes offensively in the playoffs.
And, well…he sure did. So I don’t plan on getting my hopes up that he’ll send them packing.
