Nah, I told you this when the place got a franchise and you didn't think it was going to be a good hockey market. The weather is good during the hockey season (I'll take 17 and sunny in January....). The shopping, dining and entertainment is on par with just about any other city in the league and the suburbs there are fairly upscale, affordable (or used to be...I considered moving there 10+ years ago), and quiet.

I mean, I know it's not Buffalo. But it's still pretty good.

He's 14th in goals at 221 but Knies should knock him down a slot by the end of his current deal. Not sure who else would pass him - maybe Kadri if we trade for him (60 goals back).

Should be a footnote in the franchise record books by the time he's done playing. so that's nice.

Just go back to that old YouTube clip from when Mitch was a 10 year old and they were interviewing his dad. You could tell right away that this guy is way too obsessed with seeing to it that his kid becomes a star. He was probably a pain in the ass for anyone who ever coached his kid through minor hockey.

Simply put, Paul Marner is a fucking asshole. When assholes have kids, they often wind up also becoming assholes. In 20 years, Marner's infant son will be a 20 year old douchebag.

The Burbs are awesome around Vegas and way cheaper than Toronto or other USA cities

Your hiding in peace and not far away from all the stuff that Vegas has to offer

I was there a few years ago and what you can buy for a mil in the burbs is a shit ton less than Toronto
