OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

I mean, MLB right now is kind at the stage the NHL was in in 2004. Things were getting imbalanced, and they really need some pretty radical reforms to balance out the league. It wouldn't surprise me if they lost the full season. But at the same time, the sport as a whole is still drawing fans, so I think they will really try to avoid losing the whole season. Might be a few months, and then they come back with a short season like 2020.

MLB is broken , needs a total overhaul

It is, but it's also about as popular as it's ever been. If they lose a season to tear it down and rebuild the system, they'll have to rebuild a lot more.

That's why I think in the end they will settle on something, and get between 60 and 120 games in next year. Neither side wants to kill the golden goose.

I don’t think mlb is anywhere near the state the nhl was in tbh. I don't even think mlb payrolls are more than 50% of revenue at the moment.

Unless they’re tearing it down, there’s no reason to trade Rogers. Just get rid of the free agents and guys who you want to get rid of. Play the kids and see who’s good the rest of the year.

Hoff is the guy they should try to get the closer price for, if anyone is feeling the urge to gamble on him again. Watch him close out the 9th to win the WS for his new team now.

You have to fix service time for the Barger and Pillar types who get royally screwed

I would be listening on any RP not named Varland tbh, and even him, if someone wanted to Mason Miller us, i'd take it.

I think there is sneaky overpayments to be had on Rogers/Fisher/Fluharty.

Im not saying sell, but you do listen.
