My post shouldn’t be interpreted as me “giving up”. Just realism about the situation—that the mess down south won’t be cleaned up simply by a vote at the ballot box and peaceful transfer of power. Trump and his supporters will not allow it.

Doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll ultimately win, just that it’s going to be a fight.
