Tis the nature of not having a diversified economy, and more importantly, not being heavily tech-driven. Lost decades are a thing. Carney's performance thus far, for me, is highlighting how disappointing Trudeau was. Happy that he's banging a pop star and enraging magas, and I do think he cared and tried his best. But we can't forget that he was an unqualified nepo baby, after all.

Jt was a natural leader. Never studied hard enough to earn any policy chops tho. But was always smart enough to delegate that stuff. But not good enough to have a detailed economic vision that would inspire his team to do anything but play it safe.
