2014 Trade Deadline Thread

[Volcanologist]

We'll have to hope Bolland comes back. we'll need his experience if we make the playoffs.

[MyNameIsJonas]

Calle Jankrok headed to NAS in Legwand deal.

[worm]

Collberg is a good prospect. That kind of sucks if they can't resign Vanek.

Though I do like collberg he has not been good this year and we have about 5 other prospects that have passed him....small skill forwards are a hab strength

[worm]

Why would his price be any different than Vanek or Moulson, both of which look reasonable.

Brian Burke.

[MyNameIsJonas]

Brian Burke.

Good on Burke sticking with his price to the bitter end then....solid.

[axlsalinger]

Also, Snow HAD TO trade Vanek. Burkie didn't.

[Metalleaf]

Yeah if Burke traded for Cammalleri and spent a 1st rounder and the equivalent of Moulson, he'd be sweating it out trying to get value back.

[zeke]

Collberg isn't very good. Neither is jarnkok (though legwand is no prize).

[Metalleaf]

Legwand will help Detroit...but I don't know that he helps them into a playoff spot without Datsyuk and Zetterberg.

[MyNameIsJonas]

Burkie is still likely to lose Cammaleri for nothing.

I dont think he does.

They could extend him though, perfect fit behind those 2 guys.

[LeafOfFaith]

The return on Moulson looks to be the worst of the day.

I know the media guys were going on about "uh oh Detroit improved and the Leafs didn't" but without Datsyuk, Zetterberg, they aren't passing Toronto. Ottawa >> Detroit.

[Metalleaf]

Can't wait for Stempniak to score the Stanley Cup winning goal.

[Corky27]

Pretty sad sack team when your players constantly take shots at you via social media.

[Volcanologist]

Good pickup by the Pens in Goc.

what is this about?

[trujaysfan]

my guess would be they had a bet that Lu would be traded but Kesler wouldn't be loser stays in vancouver

[Corky27]

No, it's because Louongo said "ya well we all know how that ends, he's not going anywhere" when asked about Kesslers trade demands.
