Tell her to research alternate routes. Apparently 40 heading west out of Wilmington is stop and roll TODAY. There's about a million alternates though, from all those long decades before the interstate connected all the way through.
 
SC is making their interstates one way , away from the coast at noon today. I guess NC will do that eventually for I-40 , at least I hope so.

She just rolled into the driveway. It took a little over 2:30. She said 40 was fine until she got to exit 312.

No matter how you slice it the state of NC is going to be hit hard and it looks like a stubborn SOB of a storm that will hang around for days. The rainfall predictions are obscene, even for the RDU area...stay safe out there.

VERY unlikely to be rescheduled this season. WVU is a likely contender for their conference championship and without a lot of musical chairs with multiple changed dates the only opening is right before that would happen. I was told that WVU flatly refused to switch host duties for next season because they don't want to go to the trouble of trying to find a 6th home game in 2019. Frankly, State's athletics department seemed pretty frustrated with their general attitude. I'd be surprised if State schedules them for quite awhile in ANY sport.
 
If they add a 6th home game next year they would have to cancel a road game right? (to stay at 12 games total) So that is probably their problem.

That reminds me , in WV if you get divorced is the girl still your sister? :)
 
TB has a new GM Yzerman stepped down. Julien Brisebois promoted from asst. GM to top job

looks like Brisebois never played hockey at any level from what I can see , only worked in management and has a law degree.

Yzerman has a potential Stanley Cup contender/winner in Tampa for the next couple of years that he has built, must be more to the story for him to relinquish GM duties, that job is draining, perhaps personal reasons or just burned out since this seems to have come from left field.
 
could be a family issue. I knew a guy who worked a lot of OT and owned a business on the side along with his regular job. His wife said cut down your work hours or I'm leaving you. So he cut back to working 4 days a week.

There's always problems. ADs work through them all the time ... IF they want to. And when they don't, they find that they have troubling scheduling games for awhile.
 
For those of you that may not know, there is an app called gas buddy. I suggest downloading it because it will tell you which gas stations are out of gas, which have gas, and how long the wait times are. I’ve used it it’s good.
 
a lot of local stations are already out of gas. don't know how often they get more. I assume they get a few deliveries per week and maybe they can get more if they ask.
 
ECU at VT game also cancelled Sat.

latest track for storm is headed south of Raleigh and hitting Asheville
