Voluntary on and off-ice workouts at PNC start on Tuesday. They’re expecting 16 players and they‘ll be split into 2 groups. Fans are not allowed in the building.

So each of the eight losers in the play-in round have an equal 12.5% chance at the top pick...so if Toronto loses to Columbus and wins the draft lottery they retain the first rounder and the Canes get the Leafs 2021 first rounder...but...if the Canes lose to the Rangers and win the draft lottery they keep their pick and the Rags get the Leafs first rounder as the later of the two first rounders...that makes my head hurt to think about but the first overall pick would be a nice consolation prize for bowing out to the Rangers!

Wow, so that gift entry into the playoffs qualifies as getting screwed? I'm sure the Penguins who have to play an extra playoff round against a team that had absolutely no business getting in with a goalie that can steal a short series would hardly agree that its the Habs who got screwed by COVID.

Still nothing on the AHL news for next year. Looks like the deal has run into some issues. I guess there is no hurry since season may not start until January.
