Question, is Nico Daws able to be drafted this year? I see he is on Thunder's roster but was taken this year in the 3rd round as an overager. Thanks.

He's Thunder's property as he was picked up post draft last year. So as long as he's protected in his minors, he's unavailable to draft.

I love how Jared McIsaac is now the league whore. I think he's on his fourth team now. I drafted him and he gets included in deals a lot.

I traded Kahkonen so needed a replacement.

I have

Price - Starter but will play less
Allen - For when Price isn't in
Lundqvist - who will likely be the backup

Copley - still far away
Knight - Still far away
Sorokin - Likely to play this year

You think that is a position of strength? Not so sure so I picked up Mrazek off a team that will likely win their fair share of games. I thought it was the prudent move to make especially considering I am only expecting good points from my D and G.

I think it's more that the majority of teams carry only 2 non-minor eligible goalies in their active rosters.
And a few teams carry 3.

Mrazek is your 4th non-minor eligible goalie.
HHH will most likely be the only team with 2 goalies on the bench.

Still a great piece to hold onto and get good value back in a trade if Carolina performs like we expect them to.

Yeah, not a concern until I fix my forwards. I'm somewhat pleased with my D and G so now on to the scorers. As mentioned, I'd move a goalie for a good reasonably young forward.

I'm not even expecting an NHL season soon.. but I feel the risk was worth a 4th rounder.
