Just yesterday Marc Denis was on TSN690 saying that he was really happy with what he's seen from Savard. Not sure exactly what he's watching. Maybe old tapes of Serge Savard from 1969?

This could have been predicted the minute they eliminated the Leafs. It guaranteed us at least 3-5 more years of Bergevin, Timmins and the institutionalized mediocrity that keeps them employed.

Normally the Habs do better than expected through October and November. Then they drop like a stone and limp to the finish line. If they don't rack up easy wins in the early part of the season when the opposition isn't trying very hard they'll be screwed and the season will be over by xmas.
