2021 Playoff Thread | Round 1 | Habs/Leafs

Pressure is all on TO now: even if Montreal loses Game 7, they were down 3-1 and never expected to win anyways. Now, the Leafs were up 3-1 with the Habs appearing dead in the water, but TO has lost back to back OTs, blown a 3-1 series lead and you now all their recent past playoff collapses are going to be in their heads

The unfortunate part of tonight's result is, I think it all but guarantees that The Charlatan will be back next season and beyond.

I bet a hundred dollars it will be the Leafs who come out rocking in the 1st instead of the Habs. Price will have to hold the fort.

You get all the comedic action working for the Government,
That we do. Boy do I have some stories I wish I could share, like about some failed Quebecois politicians having their word to say on how we're going to work. (Allegedly)

Really shitty start with JT getting hurt. Glad he seems to be recovering.

A lot of fun moments though.

Didn't have much passion going into game with after the crappy end to the season.

But that Byron goal changed it. Fucking dicks made me care. And what a fucking goal that was. On his belly deke to top corner.

In classic Habs fashion they cannot get it done in the next 3.

Galcehyuk to caufield to Suzuki (sucks that Cuthbert ruined the call). After losing the lead.

Blowing the lead again in game 6. And getting dominated in OT... And the guy that wasn't good enough for game 1 sends it to game 7.

Game 7 and the Price show, made it look easy. And they actually scored an empty netter.

Just realized tonight that I do not recall a game vs a Canadian team since my dad said the Habs are done after being down 2 to 0 vs Quebec in 1993.

That’s funny cuz’ I said the exact same thing after the ‘Nords went up 2-0; I didn’t even watch game 3. I was in Montreal for a couple of weeks and went to an Expos game instead, then Damphouse won it in OT in game 3 and the unlikely run started.
