That was Fogarty's 2nd post draft season. Phenomenal, but really comparable to draft year stats.

Corey Locke had some dominant scoring years in the OHL too. He scored slightly more points in slightly fewer games than Lafreniere.

The last 4 drafts for the Habs. Curious how people think we have done.
2019 (MB)
Caufield is the prize here. But just imagine if we had York instead. Norlinder looked promising but probably not happening. Harvey Pinard might have a tweener career. But nothing else. Nobody even seemed to have a good post draft year out of the remaining picks.
2020 (MB)
Guhle has been great so far. Also traded for Barron (Gorton).
Tuch is a bust
Mysak has been decent. Maybe a bottom 6 role.
Smith and biondi has been bad busts.
Farrell might he something. Hard for me to get a read on him. Hopefully the Olympics is the real him.
Dobes has interesting numbers but goalies will goalie.
2021 (MBs last hurrah)
Mailloux. Suspended and hurt a lot. So who knows. If he can stay healthy I like him. Baggage obviously.
Kidney. Great post draft year and even better this year.
Kapanen seems good so far
Kostenko. No clue.
Trudeau. Probably nothing here
Sobolev. Probably nothing.
Roy. Excited about this player. Great post draft, and doing it again. Also good at world juniors (should be even better this year).
Simomeau. Older pick but getting points in the AHL. Maybe something here.
Vrbetic. Goalies gonna goalie

Too early to tell but so far everything has been from interesting to great.
Beck and hutson stand out.
I'm really liking the last two drafts. I bet we see at least 2 stars and probably 6 legit NHLers.
Add to this in 2023 and we are off and running.

When you pluck Guhle and Cole in the mid teens , thats a home run

Along with moves like Jack eye, dach, maybe Barron I am liking the direction. But it would be damn nice to get a superstar.
