I don't mind it. He can develop by playing with big boys and he arrives in the NHL at age 21...and he's making peanuts until 24.

3 years is "fine." That doesn't bother me much. Like how many years away from being an NHL regular is the next best guy at #5? Probably 3 or more... but we could have Michkov coming in and potentially being a total stud.

also, the lottery doesn't actually work by selecting from a dozen numbered balls. It's a 1001 strings of digits that get matched to the numbers held by actual teams
