Robinson is probably going to be pretty similar to Martinook in that he'll give you consistent effort and his speed and aggression will cause opponents problems, but he's not enough of a finisher or setup guy to hit the counting stats all that much. The other two are warm bodies who don't hurt you when they play. Not in this system, anyway. Carrier is a bit different in that he's kind of the Martinook+ model. If he can stay healthy, people will notice that dude when he's out there.Robinson, Jost, Lemieux...are you getting anything offensively from any of those journeymen taking up "three" roster spots...I like the upside with Blake, great shot, some real offensive skill to his game...giving the kid a chance looks like a real possibility now more than ever. I agree with you JB, you do not keep Blake up to sit or waste away on the fourth line.

Bank that cap space!!!Tyson Jost is on waivers
In Jost's case, no. Lemieux is a Rod favorite and the type of guy you can sprinkle in here and there who is still effective in those limited appearances. He is perfect 13th or 14th forward who will play hard when he plays, practice hard, and not whine about playing time.Robinson, Jost, Lemieux...are you getting anything offensively from any of those journeymen taking up "three" roster spots...I like the upside with Blake, great shot, some real offensive skill to his game...giving the kid a chance looks like a real possibility now more than ever. I can't remember the last time I had either one. Some of us born outside the south have embraced Cheerwine. I was a Dr Pepper fan before, Cheerwine is an adequate substitute.
I had a 7 oz. can of Cheerwine this morning, just because I needed the caffiene/sugar rush. Boom!I can't remember the last time I had either one.

A 70 acre sugar cane field has less sugar than Mountain Dew
But a cane field has a LOT more rat parts. I've been near one when they're burning the field before harvest. It looks like a rat race!A 70 acre sugar cane field has less sugar than Mountain Dew
I mean, if he uses the 4th line like he did the last two years, then Brindy will be trying to score on opposing goon lines and thus not really worried about defense. They have to be able to hold their own of course, because opponents will get the odd 1st/4th look on stoppages and such, but Drury and Robinson are both smart, responsible players.I really am curious as to how RBA will use Blake. If he’s on the 4th line he’s going to have to learn defensive game. I thought RBA got out of putting developing players with a scoring touch in that checking role and gave them more opportunity to develop their offensive skills in the NHL by letting them play more top 6
