Vancouver signed goalie Kevin Lankinen to a 5 year extension with a $4.5 million AAV.

No movement clause for Lankinen also. Wonder what means for the Canucks' plan for Demko. He's got one more year on his deal, and it's not unreasonable to carry a total of $9.5 million AAV in net, I guess. Not with the Cap spiking. But with Silovs looking like at least an NHL backup, I wonder if they won't go ahead and put Demko in the shop window and see if they can replace some of the firepower they lost in the Miller deal.
