The NHL strikes out again! So they start regular season games like this and shut out the paying fans that subscribe to ESPN+ by only putting the games on NHL Network. Absolutely clueless when it comes to the large segment of the population like YouTube TV subscribers that have no opportunity to get the NHL Network yet pay for the right to have their so called “full season” NHL package on ESPN+. There is no reason why you don’t make games like the Global Series available on ESPN+ too.The regular season starts today with the Devils and Slugs playing in Czechia. The game is at 1 on NHL Network.
I mean, who would bet on anyone else? Actually, who would bet on hockey in the first place?I know EVERYONE here on this board bet on Stef Noesen scoring the first goal of the NHL regular season!
NHL Network, so 1 in 5000 fans can watch. Noice. The regular season starts today with the Devils and Slugs playing in Czechia. The game is at 1 on NHL Network.
I mean, I've got it but haven't given a second's thought to watching the game. Those season openers in Europe are generally awful games.NHL Network, so 1 in 5000 fans can watch. Noice.
LeBrun says more than $20 million is bonuses but PuckPedia doesn’t have the breakdown yet.Swayman and the Bruins have reportedly come to terms, per The Athletic, on an 8-year, $8.25 million AAV deal.
Well ... loads of guys are on waivers today and tomorrowIf Columbus had any luck it would be bad. Both Boone Jenner and Dimitri Voronkov are out long term with upper body injuries.
This is ... that was kinda/sorta true for a fairly long time. Although it probably had more to do with them being an automatic contender so long as Bergeron was around.Someone on NHL radio on satellite was spewing some garbage about "the Boston culture" and how players will take less money just to play there. Went on and on about all of the great Bruins throughout the team's history that could've made more elsewhere but wanted to be part of the Bruins way. That was the very moment that I was rooting for Swayman to stick them with $9 million per year.
