Talking media heads suggest that Habs view (viewed?) Reinbacher more favourably than any D in the 2024 draft.

Short of a minor miracle, nobody's touching him. What he's doing as a 17 year old in the NCAA is incredible.
There was Eichel & Fantilli that won the Hobey Baker in their draft years, but both are considered lates and were 18 the whole NCAA season. Celebrini's only turning 18 in June.

Personally, I think that's insane. The amount of change from d-men who are 16 to 17 years old, let alone 16 to 24 years old, is huge. Making a conclusive statement like that is... Yeah, I don't know.

Yeah, seems like a stretch. Was in context of Habs rejecting Gauthier for 5th at last year’s draft. Apparently several teams were looking to jump ahead of the Coyotes to grab Reinbacher.
