Too many IFFS at #2

Name me a defenseman that doesn't have "ifs" at 17/18 years old.

What's intriguing about him are his tools. It's a very big TBD whether he can put everything together, but the fact that he's getting regular shifts (3rd pairing minutes, granted) in the KHL at 17 is remarkable.

Chicago and San Jose have picks in the teens. But I imagine they’ll want to keep them.

yeah taking a Russian is a huge risk now

I don't really care that we have 6 picks in the last 3 rounds, including. 3 7th round picks. I'm not sure any team would trade us one 2nd round pick for all those 6 picks.
