2024 Draft

To me it has to be BPA, the problem is figuring out what exact that means and who precisely that is when your team is called to the podium.

Every team say they draft BPA, but they all have a different definition and evaluation of what BPA is.

This org can't help itself to pick the best player in the draft for a position of need, regardless of BPA.
You only fill immediate needs if you have studs ready to step in

Most are 2-3 years away , needs will change by then

However you can draft a player of future need within that time frame , if the gap is minimal

The thinking is Cooley may get his 70 points a season but Slaf will be more of a factor in the playoffs because of his size (hopefully, when he finally matures). Bigger players take longer to mature.

the NHL is a not a developmental league

It's hard headed foolishness.

European & American prospects have the privilege of being able to go to the AHL at 18 or 19 years old, whereas players taken from the CHL can't.

We had two top-3 picks from Europe, without any issues sending them to the AHL, and... we did this.

It's remarkable.

KK is turning around nicely

Judging by last night, I'd say the only thing that required courage was to put Slaf on a line with Suzuki. You can't stick him with Anderson or Gallagher and expect him to produce.
Dont understand WTF it took so long

Anderson and Peenard are not the fucken answer and never will be

If the decision is to keep Slaf in Montreal , leave him on the top line and ample PP time and leave it alone

We picked 2 guys that the org admitted were 4-5 years projects and we immediately put them in the only non-development league possible. Brilliant.

Hughes would look good right about now

Should of just kept the first and third pick , WTF was Dvorak going to do on a sinking ship

Its like handing you an umbrella in a C4 hurricane

Slaf has to hit , cant keep fucking top 5 picks
