Meh, we'd probably.pick the same guy at 2 than at 5. Bet the teams that dont get Celebrini will take Ds in the top 5.
But maybe we can trade down if we think our pick is still sitting a 4,5,6 etc.

Any time we can pick one these 6'4 / 6'5+ dudes, I always ask this question:I’m very very lukewarm about Lindstrom, besides his physical package (ok that sounded wrong), there is nothing that overly excites me about his game. (Ok, that didn’t make it any better)
If Hugo is ok with a D as BPA , there should be 3-4 players he can target easilyBut maybe we can trade down if we think our pick is still sitting a 4,5,6 etc.
Its all about ceiling and risk factorAny time we can pick one these 6'4 / 6'5+ dudes, I always ask this question:
What are his talents beyond him being big?
Like you, I have my reservations about Lindstrom. At this point, I'd be much happier reaching for Iginla than taking Lindstrom. Based on the way Lindstrom plays, he's a winger at the NHL level and not a center.
Demidov, Catton and Iginla before Lindstrom for me.Any time we can pick one these 6'4 / 6'5+ dudes, I always ask this question:

Slaf had a monster draft year at international competitions, some against men. That moved his draft status quite a bit.Its all about ceiling and risk factor
If Slaf wasnt built like a monster he probably isnt a lottery pick , same for Lindstrom
Iginla for me is a very safe plug and play top 9 player but can he be a star one day
Habs simply cant fuck up this pick regardless of position
we don't judge your preferencesI’m very very lukewarm about Lindstrom, besides his physical package (ok that sounded wrong), there is nothing that overly excites me about his game. (Ok, that didn’t make it any better)
The Bleacher Report mock draft has Catton going no. 20. I don’t think he’s getting drafted in the top 15.Demidov, Catton and Iginla before Lindstrom for me.
Off ice issues non withstanding, I don’t quite see what Snake sees in Connelly to justify a top 10 pick. Top 20 sure, but top 10 is a stretch.
But Slaf and Lindstrom ARE built like monsters, which makes them more effective players, all other things being equal. Its all about ceiling and risk factor

Iginla is a wing too. I haven’t seen either play bit based on what I’ve read, Lindstrom is the clear choice between them if his back is judged to be fine.Any time we can pick one these 6'4 / 6'5+ dudes, I always ask this question:

Just like Wehave to do it before marriage. Always getting it backwards.before Wehave got married, rumour is he checked out that scene in Valemount BC
Where would Reinbacher be slotted would he be in this draft?Iginla is a wing too. I haven’t seen either play bit based on what I’ve read, Lindstrom is the clear choice between them if his back is judged to be fine.
Leshunov is 6’5”, Reinbacher 6’4”. All the guys ranked in the top 10 or so are highly skilled, one would think, so being bigger, and skilled, is obviously preferable.
That's a good question.Where would Reinbacher be slotted would he be in this draft?
Sam is a monster , great player to watchThat's a good question.
The only d-man in the top 10 that I've seen regularly is Sam Dickinson and I would take him before Reinbacher... But not by much.
Sam Dickinson is a prototypical modern-day d-man that teams would love to have and you need to have on playoff teams. Big, big fan of his.
Its an hour west of me. Winter paradise for sledders. No, wait. I did drive through Valemount once, back in 2003 just after the big fire that destroyed Barriere. I didn't stop the car.
I've stayed there a few times, usually on way to Jasper or EdmontonIts an hour west of me. Winter paradise for sledders.
