I assumed they would have trouble beating them 3 straight years and I wanted to hear Cartman scream Go Kings Go.

My top half is brutal too with Winnipeg fucking up and Dallas being behind.

In the end it is only $20.00 I lost so no biggie.
 
Strange year. While they deserve credit for doing so, the Islanders, Capitals, and Predators really shouldn't have made the playoffs. They aren't very good. Teams like Calgary, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, New Jersey really screwed up and deserve being dumped on.

I'm not that surprised.

Tampa's become too top heavy, their core is aging, all of the good (and most importantly, dirt cheap) depth they have is gone, they have one of the worst prospect pools in hockey...

I tip my hat to them, they were the model on how to run a hockey team for a decade and the results have shown that. But the gig's over. It's time to tear some of that team up and rebuild.

You know your team's in trouble when both Tyler Motte and Calvin de Haan are regularly getting shifts.

Yeah their time is over, not where they go from here, I assume they’ll keep the ball rolling with the same core for a few more seasons.

But I thought they’d take the series to 6 or 7 games at least. They were dominated.

If you look at the players who have left Tampa Bay and they received nothing in return? You can almost build a decent NHL team.
 
I thought Vasilevsky had a poor game, so another so called "elite" goalie (Hellebucyk,Saros) comes up small. He wasn't very good last year against the Leafs either. Bobvovsky on the other hand has looked wonderful two playoff years in a row. .
