Which is kinda too bad, because if they had found a way to take out Vancouver then Winnipeg’s draft choice would improve (albeit marginally.)

They can, but if they have to be at work for 6am it's an issue. Edmonton is a blue collar town. There's more traffic between 5am and 7am than there is between 7am to 9am.

I think (not sure) if VGK and Nashville, the two wildcards, make it to the Conference final Winnipeg moves up from 27 to 25.

Vegas has pick 18 right now, Nashville is 22. They would move up into 29-32.

That might be we the case with a Colorado and Vegas WCF too.
