I will get banned again soon, worry not.
I think the Leafs will do the Leafy thing in Game 7 and blow it. The Bruins will save face and be golfing a week later when Florida fits them for clown suits in 4 straight.
In hindsight, Pastrnak had a very Taylor Hall-ian circa 2017-2018 season. Almost has twice as many points as the second best forward on his team, managed to drag an otherwise really bad team to the playoffs before an unceremonious first round exit. And Pasternak is completely invisible. Even Marchand is barely involved in the play anymore. The rest of the lineup is as think as can be.
I like Lindholm a lot, but he hasn't been good. I can't help but think he's playing injured.Bruins defence beyond McAvoy and Lohrei has little mobility. Shattenkirk is an afterthought now. And Lindholm-I'm not impressed with him. Always heard he was good.
Woll’s game 5 performance gave the Leafs lifeNah.
Bawstun had four shots in the first 30 minutes. Woll did what he had to do and was solid, but Bawstun was flat as could be.

The big Russian, Benoit, Edmundsson, McCabe. They lay into the Bawstun forwards any chance they get.
To list all the bad Leafs chokes would crash the server.Bruins have a history of bad chokes

Wouldn't he only retire after this run?Btw tonight was Jack Edwards' last game
2 pathetic teams , had to stop watching after 30 minutesI like Lindholm a lot, but he hasn't been good. I can't help but think he's playing injured.
He's an unspectacular, but extremely steady player. He just looks like he's a step behind on everything.
Like previous-generation Habs teams, the Bruins have always had an aura that has allowed them to get the most out of players, I think. The team's achievement level often exceeds its talent level. But the last couple of games it sure seems like it is playing only to its talent level. That's where there's a problem, because as you point out there isn't a lot of it beyond 3-4 guys.In hindsight, Pastrnak had a very Taylor Hall-ian circa 2017-2018 season. Almost has twice as many points as the second best forward on his team, managed to drag an otherwise really bad team to the playoffs before an unceremonious first round exit.
Bawstun's centerline is Coyle, Zacha, Geekie and Boqvist. "Hey, GGpX, why can't Bawstun generate any offense?"
I dunno... couldn't tell you...
One would think. The Panthers are going to destroy either team in the next round. Destroy.
Wouldn't he only retire after this run?
That's the big thing that everyone in Leafs Nation is forgetting. It's very easy to get tunnel vision and obsess over this series, especially last night when it was literally the only game on the schedule. But what we need to remember is that these are easily the two worst teams still alive in these playoffs (although Nashville could be in that group too) The outcome of Game 7 is completely irrelevant because of the Florida Panthers. One of either the Bruins or Leafs will be teeing off Sunday morning. The other will be teeing off about a week later. Tomorrow night will be the end of the line for one team and the "basically the Stanley Cup" for the other. The Panthers are going to destroy either team in the next round. Destroy.
