Papi needs to be at least a 50goal/90pt player next year, Tavares needs to fight off old-man-itis, and Knies needs to take another step. Nylander has likely reached his final form and may take a small step back IMO. If those things are all true, and one of Macceli and/or Robertson magically turn into a top six winger we'll be fine even without another big addition.

Everyone knows a "big swing" is coming, as Tre has basically confirmed it will at some point.

I don't think there's much doubt that they're looking to try to land their target for a Carlo/Robertson package, and have the secondary goal of trying to lose Kampf/Krok. If Reaves actually returned a positive asset, Kampf/Krok definitely can, so maybe they're trying to be worked into a larger deal, and failing that will just go for picks.

There's more than one player to get, and just about every single trade has a dozen teams crying after the fact that they could've beat the offer.
