Actually, that would make sense ... so long as Slavin isn't one of the guys battling illness. Ready made pairings are really helpful.

It would depend on what you're covering but maybe calling in one guy who can run a power play and one stay at home type is the way to go. Oh, and Harley is kind of busy being on the Canadian team :0)
 
FWIW, I'm growing concerned that this is going to end up being yet another instance of the US winning the first battle and then losing the war when it comes to tournament play against Canada. Here's hoping that putz Binnington keeps things even tonight.
 
Yeah, Konecny was pretty much invisible against Finland and it really doesn't matter all that much with the way both teams are using their 4th lines. I suspect tonight will largely be a battle of the big dogs unless Sullivan feels like he needs to even out the load due to health/stamina concerns.
 
I don't care who wins, just as long as we get a well played and officiated game. Might be asking too much with the latter. As long as there's Tkachuks and Marchand in the USA lineup, there's going to be some dirty play. Not a fan of either guy or their B.S..

I'd love to see Seth Jarvis be a factor and net a sneaky or short handed goal.

Id take the Tkachumps in the sightless eye 7 days a week and twice on Sundays.
 
No Morrissey for Canada and no Conner for the Americans. Virus running rampant. Both late scratches. Harley sucked on Saturday so hopefully he doesn’t play much.
