NB has played about 35 more NHL games than him so not sure why the hysteria in some quarters over his development so far.

The #mightyleafs recently had a 6 game winning streak, but has only picked up 1 point on MTL over the last 10 games.

I'd give it to Mike Babcock to be honest, with an honorable mention to Paul Maurice.

What Laviolette is doing isn't really surprising. Trotz had AHL caliber goaltending for most of last season and missed the playoffs by four points. Laviolette got Rinne back + an infusion of cheap offensive talent. That does wonders.

Leafs do well against teams that have no clue how to play defense like the Stars.
